La Convocatoria "Nuevos Sones del Mariachi" a punto de cerrar
El próximo viernes 20 de julio, es la fecha límite de la convocatoria “Nuevos Sones de Mariachi”, apoyada porla Secretaría de Cultura de Jalisco, a través de la Dirección General de Actividades Culturales y de la Dirección de Culturas Populares y el Consejo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes.
Con el objetivo fundamental de contribuir a estimular la creación musical tradicional, valorar y difundir el trabajo de los compositores contemporáneos y fomentar la composición de nuevos sones de mariachi que fortalezcan la presencia del Mariachi en México y en el mundo, se hace un atento llamado a mariachis, músicos y compositores de la República Mexicana a participar en el Concurso Nacional de Composición “Nuevos Sones de Mariachi “, conforme a las siguientes bases:
1) Podrán participar todos los mariachis, músicos y compositores que comprueben su residencia por lo menos durante cinco años en cualquier región de la República Mexicana, que presenten una obra musical que contenga nuevas formas de canto, melodías u ornamentaciones vocales, estilos, arreglos, letras y armonías que sigan siendo orgullo de la identidad mexicana. No deberán ser composiciones al estilo de sones de otras regiones culturales mexicanas, sólo sones de la región del mariachi.
2) Los participantes deberán entregar:
a) Una grabación de la composición en CD, que sea original e inédita de sones de mariachi con música y letra que contenga diversos elementos que conforman las identidades mexicanas del pasado y del presente. Cada concursante podrá participar con una sola composición.
b) Las partituras de la obra concursante, aunque se podrá admitir la composición sin entregar partitura, sobre todo en el caso de músicos tradicionales.
c) Un sobre que contenga el pseudónimo con el que concursarán y una ficha técnica en formato electrónico donde se mencione: duración de la obra, instrumentos musicales que intervienen y una breve explicación del sentido y sentimiento de la composición.
d) Un sobre cerrado que contenga ficha en formato electrónico donde se mencionen los siguientes datos: nombre de los integrantes del grupo o del compositor y lugar de procedencia, así como el pseudónimo con el que concursa.
3) Deberán utilizar aquellos instrumentos musicales que se reconocen como parte del conjunto del mariachi tradicional o moderno (quinta de golpe, guitarra, violines, vihuelas, arpa, guitarrón, trompetas, etc.).
4) El tema de la obra musical tendrá como principal fuente de inspiración a México y su música de Mariachi, con letra que hable de la vida del campo, las tradiciones y costumbres rurales, urbanas, indígenas o mestizas, que han contribuido a la conformación de las identidades mexicanas.
5) En caso de que el (los) compositor(es) hayan realizado grabaciones de manera profesional con alguna (s) casa (s) disquera (s), empresas, promotoras o productoras privadas o públicas tanto comerciales como de promoción cultural, deberá anexar el listado correspondiente, en el cual se detalle la obra y la disquera o empresa correspondiente.
6) Por tratarse de un acto de buena fe, los convocantes reconocen como titular (es) de los derechos morales y patrimoniales de autor, a quien(es) se ostente como tal (es), al momento de inscribir su obra, en los términos aquí planteados, quedando bajo la entera responsabilidad de éstos cualquier controversia que se pudiera suscitar con terceros respecto a la titularidad de estos derechos. En este sentido, al aceptar esta convocatoria están de acuerdo en que, de resultar seleccionado su trabajo, autorizará (n) por escrito, de manera exclusiva, la fijación de su obra, tanto en medios magnéticos, análogos, digitales y cualesquiera que los avances tecnológicos lo permitan, una primera edición, cuyo tiraje y distribución será definido de acuerdo a la disponibilidad presupuestal de las instancias participantes; autorización que será sin costo, por tratarse de difusión cultural sin fines de lucro.
7) La premiación se realizará dentro de una Gala de Mariachi en el lugar y la fecha que se informarán oportunamente, en el marco del XI Encuentro Nacional del Mariachi Tradicional, donde se interpretarán las obras ganadoras del primero, segundo y tercer lugar.
8) El primer premio consistirá en $15,000.00 (Quince mil pesos 00/100 M.N.), el segundo $10,000.00 (Diez mil pesos 00/100 M.N.) y el tercero en $5,000.00 (Cinco mil pesos 00/100 M.N.). Todos los concursantes tendrán constancia de participación. Los temas musicales ganadores del primero, segundo y tercer lugar serán grabados en vivo en el Teatro Degollado y formarán parte del disco conmemorativo del XI Encuentro Nacional de Mariachi Tradicional.
9) Los criterios a evaluar son la creatividad y la originalidad de la música, según los diversos estilos del mariachi y su apego a las identidades mexicanas. No obstante no se excluye la participación de composiciones que incorporen innovaciones armónicas o melódicas. El arreglo musical y la interpretación de la pieza quedan en segundo plano para la dictaminación de los triunfadores.
10) El jurado estará integrado por 5 (cinco) personas de reconocida trayectoria y conocimiento del mariachi y su fallo será inapelable, de lo cual se levantarán las minutas correspondientes y los resultados se darán a conocer en la página electrónica de la Secretaría de Cultura del Gobierno de Jalisco:www.cultura.jalisco.gob.mx
11) Una vez seleccionadas las obras, y concluido el XI Encuentro Nacional de Mariachi Tradicional, los participantes podrán recoger los trabajos presentados, de manera personal o a través de apoderado o representante que acredite la representación en los términos de Ley, en las oficinas que ocupa la Dirección de Culturas Populares de la Secretaría de Cultura, cuyo domicilio se consigna en el siguiente párrafo.
12) La recepción de las obras queda abierta a partir de esta fecha hasta el 20 de julio de 2012, en la Dirección de Culturas Populares de Jalisco, ubicada en el Centro Cultural Patio de los Ángeles, calle Cuitláhuac No. 305 Barrio de Analco C.P. 44450. En caso de enviar por paquetería se tomará en cuenta la fecha del envío en lugar de origen.
Cualquier asunto no contemplado en la presente convocatoria será resuelto en el ámbito de su competencia por el jurado calificador y las instituciones convocantes.
